Yushin America participated in the Robot Block Party in Pizzitola Sports Center at Brown University, Providence, RI.

It is hosted by the RI School of the Future partnering with The Humanity Centered Robotics Initiative for National Robotics Week. The event featured robot demonstrations and exhibits from the industry, universities, community organizations and public, private and parochial and home-schooled groups.

The event delivered an impressive turnout with over 1400 visitors through the course of the day. Visitors included parents and kids 5-12, along with high school and college students. The prime corner location of YAI’s booth offered a non-stop draw for people to find out who we are and what we do. Visitors were curious and impressed with our industry and learning about the industrial sized robot equipment we sell—which set us apart from most exhibitors who were showcasing smaller, gadget sized robots.

Our static HOP Five 550X sprue picker robot on display caught visitors’ attention, along with the red robot assembly game; where we challenged kids to beat the 59 second assembly time of our own robots. The majority were successful with initial assembly times of 50 seconds or less—record times included 9.6, 13.5, and 16.16 seconds. Many got so competitive and involved in the challenge they repeatedly visited the booth during the day to try and beat their previous times!

We had a great time participating in this successful event. Thank you to those of you who stopped by to visit!
