Our NC Servo Wrists

Yushin’s NC servo wrist unit gives your take-out robot precise control over part orientation, letting you rotate or angle molded parts exactly where you need them during release. Available in 2-axis and 3-axis configurations, each unit is teach-and-save programmable through the robot’s controller, so repeat setups and mold changes stay fast and consistent. Whether you’re handling delicate parts or tight tolerances, an NC servo wrist unit adds the flexibility to fine-tune placement without slowing down your cycle.

Servo Wrist Unit (Option)

These modules features up to 3 servo-powered axes of motion – wrist flip, vertical rotation and horizontal rotation – to freely rotate and adjust the angle of the end-of-arm tool (EOAT) and orient payloads prior to release.  They enable the flexible handling of inserts and molded products with the same freedom as articulated robots.  This versatility makes it easier to coordinate with various downstream equipment, opening up the future automation possibilities.

Applications

Easily Handle Different Parts with Simple Teaching

The Servo Wrist Unit makes it easy to handle a wide variety of molded parts without complex adjustments. Position changes are completed through the controller by simply selecting the appropriate saved program, allowing for fast and repeatable changeovers. It is especially effective for gate and sprue cutting, where precise positioning is essential, and can easily adapt to products with different sizes and complex shapes.

Controller-base adjustment

Easy Removal of Parts from Complex Molds

The Servo Wrist Unit makes it easy to remove parts from molds with undercuts by allowing the end-of-arm tool (EOAT) to be positioned at the ideal angle. Operators can save the required movements through the controller, enabling smooth, repeatable part removal without complicated adjustments. This helps improve handling of complex molded parts while reducing setup time and increasing production efficiency.

Under-cut product take-out

Flexible Part Handling for Complex Products

The Servo Wrist Unit provides reliable handling of large and complex molded parts by allowing the product’s orientation and release angle to be easily adjusted. It can also separate right- and left-hand parts to help prevent mix-ups during packaging or assembly. This improves part handling, increases consistency, and helps make production more efficient.

Simplifying Inspection, Cutting, and Secondary Processes

The ability to adjust the product’s orientation allows parts to be accurately positioned for downstream operations, such as vision inspection and trimming. By reducing the need for additional equipment or complex adjustment mechanisms, secondary processes become simpler, more efficient, and easier to integrate into the production line.
