Cranston, RI May 1, 2024: Yushin America, Inc, is excited to announce that we have appointed Michael Greenhalgh as President to take over the largest overseas subsidiary in the Yushin group. Effective May 1st of this year, Michael Greenhalgh with 24 years at the company will serve as the new president to replace his predecessor, Daichi Suzuki.

Michael Greenhalgh started in Yushin America as an EOAT (End-of-Arm Tooling) manager in 2000 and later was promoted to Robot Group Manager in 2001. Years of experience in robotic tooling and engineering later landed him the role of Director of Operations for Yushin America in 2006.  Michael has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and an MBA in Operations Management.  One of Michaels latest project was to work with the staff at Yushin America & Yushin Precision to supply needed robotics and automation in support of the pandemic, Yushin was designated as a critical supplier providing equipment to facilitate the rapid manufacturing of the covid-19 test kits.

Soon to be former president, Daichi Suzuki, was happy to share the announcement internally in a companywide meeting in Cranston, RI. He stated that Mike has dedicated his hours of work diligently. As he hands over the role over to Michael Greenhalgh, he states how confident that Mike will ensure continued success and lead Yushin America as a market leader in the plastics and robotics industry. Daichi will continue to support Yushin America short term as Vice president until he returns to Japan and given another role to support Yushin Precision Equipment.

The president of Yushin Precision Equipment, Mrs. Takayo Kotani also is proud to announce the great news to her subsidiaries around the world and to her directives. Takayo Kotani firmly believes this new business model of supporting the English division and leadership will help propel the company forward as a whole. Mrs. Takayo Kotani looks forward to Michael’s new contributions and success as the President of Yushin America, Inc.
