CRANSTON, RI October 2021 – Yushin America, Inc, is pleased to announce that we have appointed Daichi Suzuki as President to take over the largest overseas subsidiary in the Yushin group. Daichi Suzuki, effective beginning of October this year, will serve as the new president to replace his predecessor, Takaya Sugimura, after his 2 year position as president since 2019.
Mr. Suzuki is a March 1995 graduate of Kansai University in Osaka, Japan, where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics. Prior to joining Yushin-Japan, he had 16 years of experience in sales and marketing working for Keyence Corporation (from April 1995 to August 31, 2009) and Matsusada Precision Inc (from September 1, 2009 to October 31, 2011). At Keyence, he held the Sales Manager position from April 1, 2007 to August 31, 2009, in Hamamatsu Sales Office, where he was responsible for handling large-scale clients including major auto manufacturers.
Mr. Suzuki joined Yushin-Japan on November 1, 2011 and has been working in the sales department for 10 years. He has worked as a manager in Japan for 5 years and most recently in China for 2 years, both of which have achieved high record sales. On June 1, 2019 Mr. Suzuki was transferred by Yushin-Japan to China as the General Manager for Yushin-Japan’s three subsidiary companies in the East Asian area. In this position, he was responsible for formulating and implementing sales strategies for China and Taiwan and overseeing the development and training of local employees. Mr. Suzuki worked in this managerial position from June 1, 2019 to March 31, 2021.
Arriving here in the United States of America is one of Mr. Suzuki’s greatest accomplishment and goals to achieve as the American market has high expectations an importance to the development of the company. Daichi-san plans to help bridge the Japanese operations with Yushin America. With his knowledge and expertise, we are confident he will successfully execute the company’s strategy and take advantage of the market opportunities ahead.
