A standard 3-axis robot (X traverse, Y kick, Z vertical) handles most part take-out and sprue removal tasks. A 4-axis configuration adds a rotational wrist axis, enabling part re-orientation for downstream placement, degating, or in-mold labeling. Choose 4-axis when your cell requires part rotation for conveyor placement, stacking, or assembly operations that a fixed-orientation arm cannot accommodate.

Yes. The SX-41 is rated to ISO Class 6 (per ISO 14644-1) with sealed bearings, FDA-grade lubricants, and a minimal-particulate motion profile configurable to ISO Class 7 or 8 cells. The SXC series for micromolding is also designed for medical and pharma environments. The ECO Vacuum system on select models further reduces air discharge, supporting clean-room particulate requirements.

In-mold labeling places a pre-printed label inside the mold before injection, bonding it permanently to the part during the molding cycle.
