A linear robot moves along one or more straight-line axes — typically X (traverse), Y (kick), and Z (vertical). Yushin's top-entry and traverse take-out robots such as the YD/YD2, HST, HSA, and LA Series are all linear-style robots. They extract molded parts from injection molding machines using fast, repeatable linear motion controlled by AC servo drives on each axis.

Mini or compact injection molding robots such as Yushin's Servo Picker (YD-0310) and HOP Five sprue pickers are priced on request based on configuration, tooling, and IMM compatibility. Entry-level pneumatic sprue pickers are the most cost-effective option, while compact servo pickers carry a higher price but deliver faster cycle times, better repeatability, and lower long-term operating costs.
