Yushin's vertical IMM robots are compatible with V-type vertical injection molding machines and rotary-table presses. The V-HOP series handles machines from approximately 20–200 tons, while the SVR-C50 supports vertical presses from roughly 50–300 tons. Both are engineered for the unique shuttle and rotary-cycle kinematics of vertical presses.

Yes. Both the V-HOP/V-HOP-II and SVR-C50 are commonly deployed in insert molding cells where operators load metal inserts and the robot extracts the sprue or finished overmolded assembly. They are well-suited for connectors, terminal blocks, sensor housings, cable assemblies, and encapsulated electronics produced on vertical presses.

The SVR-C50 is rated for a typical payload range of 3–15 kg. It features a compact ISO flange end-of-arm tooling interface that supports both vacuum and mechanical grippers, making it adaptable for a variety of part geometries and weights encountered in vertical-press insert molding and overmolding operations.

Horizontal IMM robots are designed for top-entry extraction from horizontal clamps. Vertical presses orient the mold face upward and use shuttle or rotary table movements, requiring different mounting, reach geometry, and cycle interlocks. Yushin's vertical IMM robots are purpose-built for this gravity orientation and rotary-cycle timing, preventing compatibility and performance issues.

The V-HOP uses pneumatic swing actuation, which provides reliable and cost-effective sprue removal for standard vertical press applications. The V-HOP-II upgrades to servo swing actuation, delivering extended reach, faster swing speeds, and better precision — ideal for higher-cavity vertical tools or applications requiring tighter cycle timing.

Yushin's vertical IMM robots use a Yushin controller adapted specifically for vertical-press cycle interlocks. This ensures proper synchronization with the press's shuttle or rotary table motion, enabling reliable automated operation. Optional features such as a sprue separator and runner drop-tube handoff can be integrated for more complete automation cell configurations.
